What is Pulp Pulp Treatment?
It is a critical method aimed at keeping the tooth alive without the need for root canal treatment in deep lesions where the decay is very close to the nerve (pulp) of the tooth.
How is this procedure applied?
- First, the decayed tissue is carefully and meticulously cleaned.
- The vascular-nerve network of the tooth (pulp); It is isolated to protect it from thermal and chemical effects.
- For this isolation, special bioactive materials are placed in the tooth tissue.
- In the final step, both the functional and aesthetic restoration of the tooth is completed with current adhesive systems and composite fillings.
Post-Procedure Precautions
Important Note: After such a deep procedure, it is perfectly normal and physiological to experience mild sensitivity or pain for a while depending on the tissue healing process. These symptoms are expected to continue until the tooth forms its own repair tissue.
